Eating for Sleep

Participants joined Jo and Kelly for the first workshop in their new series, Nutrition: The Mind-Body Connection and learn how to best ‘Eat for Sleep’.

Do you wish you could sleep better?

Sleep is vital for overall health. When we rest, our bodies repair and recover from the day.  Optimum sleep helps reduce chronic illnesses, keeps our brain healthy and boosts our immune system.

Whether you’re a suffering insomniac or just wake still feeling exhausted, our ‘Eating for Sleep’ workshop taught participants how to nourish their bodies for better sleep.  They learnt about healthy foods and habits for a more restful and restorative night, which foods and drinks disrupt sleep, and those that promote it.

All recipes were gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free.

I’ve had a great time at these workshops, learning all about eating for health and meeting lots of nice ladies.  My husband says it’s the best bread he’s ever tasted!! Simply delicious. I really look forward to the next workshop.
